AIM for Australia

Australia is a nation in need of Jesus. Christianity came with the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788, yet it has never had a significant impact on the nation. In its 200-year history, Australia has never had a great awakening or major revival. Today, Australia is one of the world's most secular nations where people are driven by consumerism, material possessions, and personal prosperity.

While nearly 75% of the population expresses some form of religious allegiance, only about 5 percent of Australia's 20 million people are dedicated followers of Christ. This means nineteen million face an eternity separated from God. Every day, of the 400-some Australians who die, 380 of them enter a Godless eternity!

AIM for Australia is a strategic initiative to reach Australians with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Every Australian deserves to have "a fair go" at knowing God and His love for them. The vast numbers of spiritually lost people demands that we find ways to share the Gospel to as many people as possible in this generation, while there is still time.
